It is very unusual to get a tour guide so enthusiastic, informative and who manages to pitch it at the right level whilst still being amusing. I challenge anyone to go on this trip and not enjoy themselves.

We would like to say how much we enjoyed our day tour of the rainforest with our guide.

Right from pick-up at 8am it turned out to be a fascinating journey of discovery and adventure. We were all spellbound by the beauty and diversity of the rainforest. The girls haven't stopped talking about their experiences and I suspect they never will. I can't resist watching our videos and looking at the photos we took to remind myself of the day.

It is so important to be go to the right places and have the right guide when you only have one day to see so many things. The special locations you have selected for the tour and bredth of knowledge made this one of the most memorable days of our lives.

My sister Julie and I, from Indiana, were there about two weeks ago. We stayed in Cairns and we went on tour with you with and a Japanese couple.

I just wanted to tell you that I was so impressed with you and the tour we went on. After going to Ayers Rock, Sydney, and Brisbane I decided that you were the best tour we went on and I talked about you everywhere we went and how knowledgeable you were. The rainforest was magnificent and I learned so much. Thank you. I just wanted to tell you because people complain and bitch about people all the time, but never truely take the time to compliment them on how good they are. So well done!

I hope to return to Australia some day. Keep doing what your doing and educate people on how we need to save the rainforest. Your awesome.

Dear team at Tony's tropical tours,

Michele and I (Lisa) were very fortunate yesterday to be a part of one of the touring groups through your company.

The tour was exciting, informative and fun and even though it went for almost a full 12 hours, I can't help but wishing it had gone on. Our group were fortunate to see a cassowary and three of his chicks and I felt priviledged to visit the sacred site at Bloomfields falls and the property at Noah's creek (I hope I have named this correctly). Our tour guide was extremely personable and a wealth of knowledge, his sharing of that knowledge on ecosystems, medicinal properties of the foliage and fruits of the rainforest, right through to the ameoba's which form fungus like structures, was greatly appreciated.

Once again, thank you for an experience I will take with me for years to come. I will ensure that I recommend your tour to any friends who visit this part of the world.

George (my partner) and I were lucky enough to choose your organisation to undertake a tour of the Daintree and surrounds last Wednesday. We wanted to make contact with you to express our sincere gratitude for the wonderful experience.

We were very fortunate to have such a personable, articulate and knowledgeable guide. His knowledge, presentation, and communication skills throughout the entire day, provided us with fascinating and inspiring information. Both George and I, and I am sure the other 4 people on our tour, were made to feel very included, and also very free to ask questions.

The morning tea and lunch were also magnificent, as was the swim in the river. We both agree that the highlight of our trip to Port Douglas was this wonderful day out we learned lots (indeed came away wanting to learn more) and had LOTS of fun.

The river cruise with Bruce was a great way to start the day, and Gummy even came out to say hello. Now, who really did the cooking? Muffins and the lunch, it was very yummy!! Tony said he got up really early to do it - Ha ha!!!!

I got some great photos of the day so i hope you like them, I have some other photos from my other camera.

It was a full exciting day and it was definitely worth getting out of bed for, seeing I love sleeping in.

hello down under,

We had the chance to spend a day with tony on a day trip in daintree forest almost a year ago. We spent a wonderful time with him and a young american couple as well as a young german lady. he showed us so many "things" (alife) we never would have seen without him. These impressions comes back, when we look at our photos and in my diary and to the postcards (like tony gave to us).

We never said once again thank you for the time we had with you, but it is never too late, I hope.

We plan to come back for a 3rd time to australia (as we did 6 times to nz) and specially to have a two day trip with you. but it will take some time, because we are contructing a house in southern france, down in the vineyards.

Hope your tours are doing well and you have interested people to show your paradise. take care! see you in 2 or 3 years (unless you come down to france).

I've been meaning to send this e-mail for over a month now but you know how time flies! My husband and I were in Oz for Sept and we went on your tour A whilst staying in Port Douglas - It was brilliant! One on the things that attracted us to you was the small groups and it was definitely the way to go. There were 2 other couples with us, we had a great time, plenty of laughs! We even got to see a Cassowary and 3 crocs,! The rainforest walk was fab too, never realised plants could be so interesting!
